"It is only when we are lost that we begin to understand ourselves." - Henry David Thoreau
Being okay with yourself is priceless. However, not being okay is part of it! And accepting this process is the first step to actually getting better.
To do this, it is important to look at our mental health - how do we deal with ourselves when things don't turn out the way we expect? How do we deal with our thoughts and emotions? How do we deal with others?
Mental health is a state of well-being in which we are able to cope with the normal stresses of life.
Unfortunately, we are living through a global mental health crisis, and billions of people are struggling with anxiety, isolation, and depression, without access to the quality care and support they need.
It is a privilege to have access to psychological care not only to "get out of the hole", but to invest in areas that can still be improved.
