My favorite definition of meditation is "being with yourself. And how challenging it is to stay with our thoughts and feelings, without seeking some distraction....

Being alone, but in a satisfying way with ourselves, can be defined as Solitude. Some of the benefits are: sense of freedom, creativity, intimacy with oneself, and spirituality.

I developed, in my doctorate, a scale that evaluates how often we stay in positive solitude or loneliness. So, what is it like to be with yourself?

The theme of loneliness and solitude is very current and there is a lot of "food for thought. I will cover other aspects later on.
